1 ready-made sponge cake or angel food cake (store-bought or homemade)
Assorted fruit of your choice (strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, grapes, pineapple, mango, etc.)
1 cup whipped cream or Whipped cream
2-3 tablespoons fruit jam or jelly (optional, to add sweetness and flavor)
Mint leaves or almond slices for garnish (optional)

Sponge cake or angel food cake Slice and plate.Place on one layer on a serving platter or plate.
Wash and prepare the selected fruit. Cut into bite-sized pieces if necessary.
Spread whipped cream or whipped cream on top of the cake.
Arrange the sliced โ€‹โ€‹fruit on top of the whipped cream layer. Get creative with your arrangements and combine different fruits for a colorful presentation.
If desired, gently warm the fruit jam or jelly in the microwave for a few seconds until pourable. Adding jam to fruitcake adds extra sweetness and flavor.
