French Onion Beef and Pasta

 

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound beef stew
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 10.5 ounce can French onion soup
3 cups beef broth
12 ounce egg noodles
½ cup crème fraîche
¼ cup Parmesan cheese
1 cup fried onions

Instructions

Heat the olive oil. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Brown the beef: Add the beef stew and season with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir fry beef for 3 to 5 minutes on both sides until browned.
Bring soup and broth to a boil: Add French onion soup and beef broth. Reduce heat to low and simmer beef for 10 minutes.
Cook noodles: Add egg noodles to pot and simmer for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender.
Add dairy: Remove pot from heat. Add the fresh cream and Parmesan cheese and mix.
To serve: Before serving, sprinkle with fried onions if desired.
