Grandma’s homemade cake


  • 3 large or 4 medium eggs
  • 1 lemon yogurt
  • Sugar (2 measurements of yogurt)
  • Flour (3 measurements of yogurt)
  • Sunflower or olive oil (1 yogurt)
  • Chen 1 pack Baking powder (16 g)
  • Lemon zest
  • Butter and flour (to spread the shape)
  • Powdered sugar for decoration (optional)

Heat the oven. 150 degrees.

Beat the eggs, add sugar, yogurt, sunflower oil, and lemon zest (do not add the white part as it is bitter). Mix the flour and yeast, add to the previous mixture and mix well.

Grease the mold with butter, sprinkle with flour and shake off the excess flour. Pour the mixture into molds. If you want the yeast to work even better, let the dough rest for 15 minutes before putting it in the oven. It’s baking. It’s done when you can pierce it with a toothpick and it comes out clean (don’t give it too much time as each oven will cook differently).

Remove and temper. Run a knife around the edge of the mold to remove it from the mold. You can also decorate with powdered sugar.
