Grandma’s Deep-Fried Egg Bread

Ingredients:

750g flour
1 teaspoon salt
6-7 boiled eggs
1 bunch green onions
Vegetable oil (for frying)
Melted butter 200ml (approx. 1 cup)
600ml water

Prepare

Large Put the flour and salt in a bowl. Mix.
Gradually add water to the flour mixture and mix well until a smooth dough forms.
Divide the dough into small balls about the size of golf balls.
Flatten each ball into a small disk.
Peel the boiled eggs and cut them into thin slices.
Finely chop the green onions.
Place a few egg slices and a pinch of chopped green onion on each disk of dough.
Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges tightly.
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pot or deep fryer.
Carefully place the filled dough into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy. Turn it over occasionally to ensure it cooks evenly.
After cooking, remove the fried bread from the oil and remove excess oil on paper towels.
Brush the fried bread with melted butter while it is still hot.
