Easy Homemade Egg Cake
1.5 cups of maida made from refined wheat flour
baking powder 1.5 teaspoons
3/4 cup melted butter
1 cup powdered sugar
3 fresh eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla/chocolate/orange/strawberry essence. use what you like
5 tablespoons milk
Sift the flour and baking powder together in a large bowl and set aside.
Mix the butter with a whisk or mixer for 1 minute
Add sugar and mix again
Crack the eggs into 1 tablespoon of the flour mixture and add to the butter and sugar mixture. Stir in the eggs until completely combined. Be careful not to over-beat the eggs
Repeat this process with the remaining eggs, one egg at a time.
Add remaining ingredients such as flour, essence, and milk to the flour. Gently mix with a spatula until the mixture is homogeneous
Mix again with an electric mixer. Continue for about 30 minutes until the flour is no longer visible.
Line a cake tin with baking paper and brush with a drop of butter.
Preheat the oven to 180℃
Pour the batter into the mold and bake for 50 minutes.
Please check if it is cooked properly
Carefully remove cake from mold
Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving
