Amish Country Casserole


1 pound pasta (optional)
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
14.5 ounce can tomato soup
1 14.5 ounce can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup whole milk
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Spray a large baking dish with nonstick cooking oil.
Cook the pasta in a large pot according to package directions.
Meanwhile, add olive oil to a frying pan over medium heat and fry the onions until soft.
Add the ground meat and continue cooking until cooked through.
As soon as the pasta is cooked, drain it and return it to the pot.
Add the cooked meat, tomato, mushroom soup and milk to the pasta. Stir well and season with salt and pepper.
Pour into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika and parsley.
Place in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
