Taco Stuffed Shells
Ingredients:
- 24 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 package taco seasoning mix
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
- Monterey Jack cheese (grated) 1 cup
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup black olives, sliced
- 1/2 cup sour cream, for garnish
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Taco Stuffed Shells
Directions:
1. Turn oven to 350 Preheat to °F (175 °C).
2. Cook the pasta shells to al dente according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
3. In a frying pan over medium heat, fry the minced meat until browned. Excrete excess fat.
4. Add taco seasoning and water and stir. Once it boils, reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
5. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked beef, salsa, half of the cheddar cheese, and half of the Monterey Jack cheese.
6. Fill each pasta shell with beef mixture and place in a greased baking dish.
7. Sprinkle remaining cheese over stuffed shells.
8. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
9. Remove the lid and bake for another 10 minutes or until the cheese begins to bubble.
10. Before serving, garnish with green onions, black olives, sour cream and fresh coriander.
