Ingredients:

– 450g thinly sliced ​​flank steak
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon cornstarch
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
– 2 bell peppers, preferably one red and one green. )
– 1 large onion, sliced ​​
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 tablespoon minced ginger
– 1/4 cup beef broth
– 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
– 1 tablespoon soy sauce
– 1 teaspoon sugar
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Preparation:

1. Mix the sliced ​​steak with soy sauce and 2 tablespoons cornstarch in a bowl. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated steak in batches until lightly browned on both sides, then remove and set aside.
3. Add remaining 1 tablespoon oil to same skillet. Sauté the peppers and onions until they begin to soften, about 3 to 4 minutes.
4. Add the garlic and ginger to the skillet and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
5. Return the beef to the pot. Add beef broth, oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, and sugar. Simmer, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens and the beef is cooked through, about 3 to 5 minutes.
6. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with green onion slices and sesame seeds before serving.
