Honey Pepper Chicken


– 4 boneless skinless chicken breast fillets
– 1/4 cup honey
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 tsp /2 onion powder
– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
– salt (to taste)
– 1 tablespoon cornstarch
– 2 tablespoons water
– chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

1. In a mixing bowl, add honey , mix in the soybeans. sauce, olive oil, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt. Stir until everything is well mixed.
2. Place the chicken breasts in a large bowl or Ziploc bag. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure each piece is well coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
3. Preheat a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken breast and fry for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through and golden brown.
4. Combine cornstarch and water in a small bowl. Pour into a saucepan and stir well to combine with the juice. Cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
5. Garnish the chicken with chopped parsley and serve.
