Sausage Green Bean Potato Casserole
Ingredients:
– 1 pound sausage, sliced
– 2 pounds green beans, peeled and cut in half
– 4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
– 1 onion, finely chopped
– 2 Garlic cloves, minced
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1 cup chicken broth
– 1/2 cup cream
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh parsley for garnish
Sausage Green Bean Potato Casserole
Directions:
1. Turn on the oven. Preheat to 375°F (190°C).
2. Sauté the sausage slices in a large pot over medium heat. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same frying pan, fry the onion and garlic until translucent.
4. In a greased baking dish, layer half the potato slices, followed by half the green beans and half the browned sausage.
5. Add layers of remaining potatoes, green beans, and sausage.
6. Pour the chicken broth and cream over the layers. Season with salt and pepper.
7. Top with grated cheddar cheese.
8. Cover the tin with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until golden brown on top.
9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
