Jerk Cajun Chicken with Sausage

Ingredients:

– 2 chicken breasts, shredded
– 2 sausages (andouille or your choice), sliced ​​
– 1 cup penne pasta
– 1 cup rotini pasta
– 1 tablespoon jerk seasoning
– 1 tablespoon Cajun spice
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 onion, chopped
– 1 pepper, chopped
– 2 garlic cloves, chopped
– 1 cup chicken stock
– 1 cup cream
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– Salt, pepper
– fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Jerk Cajun Chicken with Sausage 

Preparation:

1. Cook penne and rotini according to package directions until al dente, drain and set aside.
2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken strips and sausage slices. Season with jerk and Cajun seasoning. Cook until chicken is browned and cooked through.
3. Add onions, peppers, and garlic to the pot. Cook until the vegetables are soft.
4. Add chicken broth and cream. Bring to a boil and thicken the sauce slightly.
5. Mix the boiled pasta and grated Parmesan cheese together and stir until heated through. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
