Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes

Ingredients:

4 sirloin steaks, about 1 inch thick
Salt and black pepper (to taste)
2 pounds (half) baby potatoes
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
Fresh 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Methods

Den Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Season steak with salt and black pepper, if desired.
In a large bowl, toss the potato halves with the olive oil, salt, and pepper. Place the potatoes on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
While the potatoes are baking, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak to the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked to your liking.
Remove steak from pan and set aside to rest.
Add the minced garlic to the same skillet and fry for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir until butter melts and mix with garlic.
Place the cooked steak on a plate and pour the garlic butter over it.
Serve the steak with fries and garnish with chopped parsley.
