FRENCH SILK BROWNIES

Ingredients:

1 box brownie mix (unprepared)
1 egg
5 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup milk
4 oz semi-sweet chocolate
8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
8 oz whipped topping (e.g., Cool Whip)
Additional 8 oz non-alcoholic whipped topping
Chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips for garnish

FRENCH SILK BROWNIES

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 11×7-inch baking dish.
Mix brownie mix, egg, melted butter, and milk until smooth. Spread into the prepared dish and bake for 25-28 minutes.
Cool brownies to room temperature.
Beat cream cheese and vanilla until creamy. Add powdered sugar and mix.
Melt chocolate and butter, then add to cream cheese mixture. Stir well.
Gently fold in Cool Whip.
Spread French silk layer over cooled brownies.
Spread remaining Cool Whip over the top. Sprinkle with chocolate shavings or chips.
Slice into squares and serve.
Notes:
Opt for homemade whipped cream for a fresher taste.
Try crushed nuts for added texture and flavor!
