Easy Sticky Chicken Drumsticks
For 4 people
12 chicken thighs
6 garlic cloves (crushed)
3 tablespoons ginger
1 red chili pepper
3 tablespoons honey
1/2 cup (100ml) soy sauce
Combine garlic, ginger, chili pepper, honey, and soy sauce in a bowl.
Mix in the chicken thighs.
Cover with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for 4 to 6 hours or overnight.
Fry the chicken in a large skillet on all sides until golden brown, about 10 to 15 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent the marinade from burning.
Remove from the pan and pour over the marinade. Boil and stir until the marinade thickens and resembles a sauce.
Return the chicken to the pan and stir-fry in the sauce for another 5-10 minutes. Make sure each leg is evenly coated and cooked through.
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
