2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon coffee powder
1 buttermilk/milk cup/yogurt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water

Preheat the oven to 160°C. Prepare two 9-inch cake pans, spray with baking spray or grease with butter, and lightly flour.
Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and espresso powder in a large bowl. Stir to combine.
Add the buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla to the flour mixture and mix well on medium speed. Reduce speed and carefully add boiling water to cake batter until well mixed.
Divide the cake batter evenly between the two prepared cake pans.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until a toothpick or cake tester inserted into the center of the chocolate cake comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let cool for about 10 minutes, then remove from the mold and allow to cool completely.
Frost and decorate as desired.
