Cheesy Baked Spaghetti


1 pound spaghetti
1 pound ground beef
1 yellow onion, chopped
4 cups marinara sauce
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
2 large eggs
5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Cottage 2 cups cheese (divided)
4 cups mozzarella cheese, grated and divided

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9×13 baking sheet with vegetable oil spray.
Boil the pasta for 2 minutes as directed. Add the meat and onions to a large frying pan over medium heat and cook until thoroughly cooked (about 5-6 minutes).
Add marinara sauce and mix well. Toss the noodles with salt, egg, and butter.
Place half of the pasta in the bottom of a baking dish and add half of the cottage cheese, half of the meat sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
Top with remaining pasta, remaining cottage cheese, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for a further 15 minutes or until the cheese is crispy and golden brown. enjoy
