Homemade Beef Lo Mein
Ingredients:
chuck roasts
broccoli crowns
carrots, thinly sliced
oil 2-3 tablespoons cornstarch
fresh lo mein noodles (I found these in the refrigerated section of my local Asian store, but if you can’t find them, use spaghetti noodles)
2 tsp sesame oil
2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
3 cloves garlic, minced
Tbsp ginger, minced 1
3 tablespoons of oyster sauce
2 tablespoons of hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons of sweet noodle sauce
Homemade Beef Lo Mein
How to make:
Cut the beef into strips, add cornstarch to a bowl, mix well and set aside
Cut and prepare the vegetables
Add oyster sauce to a bowl Add the seafood sauce, sweet soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper, mix, and set aside.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat until lightly smoking and add a few tablespoons of oil. Broil and broil the beef for about 3-5 minutes. Remove beef from pan and set aside.
Add 2 tablespoons of oil, garlic, ginger, and all the vegetables to a frying pan and fry over medium heat until soft.
Return the pasta and beef to the pot and stir from bottom to top for about 1 minute. Then cover the pot and leave it for a few minutes.
Add the sauce mixture to the pot, mix well, and stir for another minute. Arrange and enjoy!
