Salisbury Steak Meatballs
preparation
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, eggs, mustard, ketchup, and 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper, mix again, and roll into 1.5-inch balls.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on both sides in several batches. Transfer to a plate and set aside. Reduce the heat to medium. Add onions and cook until soft and lightly browned, 5 to 10 minutes.
Add the butter to the pan. Once melted, add the garlic and stir-fry for another minute until fragrant.
Add flour and cook for another minute. Slowly pour in the beef broth and simmer until it bubbles and thickens.
Stir in the remaining Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper.
Return meatballs to pot and simmer until heated through, 3 to 4 minutes.
Enjoy over egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
