No Yeast Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients:
For the dough:
All-purpose flour
Sugar
Baking soda
Baking powder
Buttermilk
Pinch of salt
Butter, melted
Vanilla extract
For the filling:
Brown sugar
CinnamonMelted butter
For the glaze:
Soft cream cheese
Powdered sugar
Buttermilk
No Yeast Cinnamon Rolls
How to make cinnamon rolls without yeast:
Step 1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Step 2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, 1 cup buttermilk, a pinch of salt, 4 tablespoons melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Step 3 Mix until combined. Mix the filling ingredients in a separate bowl.
Finally, add the melted butter.
Step 4. Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and knead it several times.
Step 6. Sprinkle half of the filling mixture onto each rectangle of dough and roll tightly lengthwise until it comes together into a roll.
Step 7: Trim the ends of each dough log and cut each log into 12 equal pieces.
Step 8. Place the cinnamon rolls, flat side down, in a greased 9×13 baking dish.
Step 9. Brush rolls with remaining melted butter.
Step 10. Bake for 20 minutes and let cool for about 20 minutes.
Step 11. Mix glaze ingredients together and spread on cinnamon rolls before serving.
Serve warm.
