KICKIN FRIED CHICKEN
Ingredients:
- 8 pieces of your favorite chicken, breast, thigh, thigh, etc.
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 2 tablespoons cucumber juice
- 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 C. Flour
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground sage
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon oregan
KICKIN FRIED CHICKEN
Preparation:
Mix milk, eggs, Tabasco, and cucumber juice.
Add the chicken and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Dredge all remaining ingredients in a separate bowl.
I used a deep fryer, but you can also use a cast iron skillet to heat the oil to 350 degrees.
Dip the chicken in the flour, then back into the marinade mixture, then back into the flour.
Place on a baking tray and continue with the rest.
Let rest for 5 minutes before frying.
Place 2-3 pieces at a time in the deep fryer and cook for 7-8 minutes without the bone, 10-12 minutes with the bone, turning each side. Make sure the internal temperature is appropriate. is 160 degrees.
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees and place the chicken on a cooling rack on a baking sheet to keep it warm and crisp while you complete the rest of the process.
