Cranberry Cream Cheese Dip

Ingredients

1/8 cup water
Zest of 1 orange
Juice of 2 oranges About 1/2 cup
1/4 cup Granulated sugar
1/4 cup Brown sugar
6 ounces fresh cranberries
1 cinnamon stick book, or 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup Grand Marnier Option
1 to 8 ounces block cream cheese
2 green onions, sliced.
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 pods crackers

Instructions

Heat a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add water, orange juice, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and orange zest. Whisk until melted, about 1-2 minutes.
Add cranberries and cinnamon stick.
Reduce heat, stir in Grand Marnier, and simmer for another 3-4 minutes.
Remove the cinnamon sticks and puree with a hand blender if necessary (if you want a smooth mixture). Place in the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour.
Place a soft block of cream cheese on a plate. Pour cranberry sauce on top.
Garnish with sliced ​​green onions and chopped pecans.
Enjoy with crackers
