Chicken thighs marinated with honey and soy sauce
Ingredients:
bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs 4 pieces
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
2 cloves minced garlic
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Minced for garnish coriander or green onion (Optional)
Sesame seeds for garnish (Optional)

Directions:
Prepare marinade:
In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Marinated chicken thighs: Place
chicken thighs in a shallow bowl or resealable plastic bag.
Pour the marinade over the chicken thighs, making sure to cover them well. Cover the dish or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight to let the flavors meld.
Preheat the grill or oven:
If grilling, preheat the grill to medium-high heat. To bake, preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
Grilling or Baking Chicken Thighs:
When grilling, remove chicken thighs from marinade and discard excess marinade. Place the chicken thighs on the preheated grill and cook for 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is crisp and golden brown.
To bake, place the chicken thighs with the marinade in a baking dish lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Brush with marinade halfway through cooking. Serves:
After cooking, remove the chicken thighs from the grill or oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Garnish with chopped fresh coriander or green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
