Blackened Steak and Shrimp Alfredo
Ingredients:
– 2 ribeye steaks, about 8 ounces each
– 12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 1 tablespoon blackened seasoning
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 pound fettuccine pasta
– None 3 tablespoons salted butter
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 cup cream
– 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Blackened Steak and Shrimp Alfredo
Preparation:
1. Season the steak and shrimp with black spice.
2. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to a frying pan and heat over medium heat. Add steak and cook until desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
3. Add remaining olive oil and shrimp to the same skillet. Cook until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
4. Cook fettuccine noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
5. Melt the butter in the same skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add cream and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix.
7. Cut the steak against the grain. Arrange pasta on plates, top with sliced steak and shrimp, and garnish with fresh parsley.
