Baked Parmesan Tomatoes
Ingredients
6 medium Roma tomatoes
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Baked Parmesan Tomatoes
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat and set aside.
Wash each tomato and cut off the ends. Next, cut the tomatoes into 1-1.5 inch thick slices. You should get 3 slices per tomato. Arrange the tomato slices on the prepared baking sheet. Then pour olive oil on top and sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
Spread the Parmesan cheese evenly over the tomatoes.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until tomatoes are soft and cheese is bubbly.
Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil and parsley. Serve hot.
