Baked Lemon Butter Chicken
Ingredients:
– 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast fillets
– 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
– 1 lemon, grated
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme
– 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1 lemon, sliced for garnish
Baked Lemon Butter Chicken
Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a bowl, combine melted butter, lemon juice and zest, minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
3. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish. Pour the lemon butter mixture over the chicken, making sure each piece is well coated.
4. Arrange the lemon slices around the chicken on the plate.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear.
6. He lets it rest for 5 minutes before eating and spoons some extra sauce from the bowl over the chicken.
