Chocolate Cake Recipe
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
pinch of salt
2 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup oil
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
1 cup boiling water
・Chocolate ganache (for coating as desired)
Fresh berries for decoration (optional)
・Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

â Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to dry ingredients. Mix until well combined. Gradually add hot water to the dough, stirring constantly. The dough will be thin, but that’s okay.
Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pan.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. If desired, spread the cooled cake with chocolate ganache and decorate with grated whole chocolate.
