Ingredients
For putty:
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 egg
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 clove of garlic (minced)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
For source:
1 small onion (sliced)
6 ounces mushrooms, sliced
1 1/2 cups beef broth
brown gravy mix 1 package
1 tablespoon ketchup (optional)
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
2 tablespoons cornstarch

To prepare the patties: Combine all patty ingredients in a bowl. Shape the mixture into small flat cakes about 1/2 inch thick.
Layer vegetables in the slow cooker: Place sliced onions and mushrooms in the bottom of the slow cooker.
