material:

  • – 1 lb tortellini stuffed, cooked and drained (use whichever you prefer)
  • -3 tbsp butter
  • -2 tbsp flour
  • -1 1/2 cup half & half
  • – 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • -1/2 teaspoon roasted garlic powder
  • – 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • – 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • -1 cup parmesan cheese
  • – 4 ounces room temperature cream cheese
  • – 1/2 cup smoked gouda cheese
  • – 16 oz frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • – a pinch of red pepper flakes
Shrimp Ingredients:
  • – 1 lb jumbo shrimp (cleaned)
  • -1 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • – 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • – 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil

Method

1. Heat a pan over medium heat and melt the butter. Once the butter has melted, add the flour and stir-fry for about 90 seconds until the flour has lost its flavor.

2. Next, add half and half and stir well. It’s a good idea to turn the heat up to high at this point and turn the heat back down to medium when the mixture starts to thicken

. 3. Add all ingredients except tortellini and stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

4. When the sauce thickens, add the pasta and serve.

shrimp :

1. Mix shrimp with olive oil, salt and Old Bay.

2. Heat a frying pan and fry the shrimp on both sides until cooked through. Consume immediately.
