Steak Sandwich with garlic aioli
Ingredients
Garlic Oil:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 clove garlic, chopped or pressed
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
SAND SANDER SANDLE:
- 24 ounces Skirt Steak
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar, pack
- 2 tbsp. Balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
- 1/2 tbsp. kosher salt
- 1/8 tsp. Pepper
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 4 hoagies
- 1 cup arugula
- 8 slices of provolone
Steak Sandwich with garlic aioli

Instructions
1. In a medium bowl, add mayonnaise, garlic and lemon juice and salt, then mix. Put aside.
2. In a large bowl, combine steak, brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, vegetable oil, salt and pepper and mix well.
3. In a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat, add butter and onions.
4. Cook, stirring frequently, until caramelized, 10 to 12 minutes.
5Take out the onion.
6. Increase the heat and add the steak. Drain the marinade before pouring it into the pan.
7. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side.
8. Leave to rest for 5 minutes, then cut into thin slices.
9. Brush the hoagies with the melted butter and place, buttered side down, on a wire rack or skillet until golden, 2 to 3 minutes.
10Brush with garlic, oil, provolone and arugula and serve the steak with the onions.
