Steak & Shrimp Hibachi

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pound shrimp, raw
  • 1 pound steak, sirloin (or any steak of your choice)
  • 1 1/2 cups white rice, cooked (packed rice can also be used)
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 large zucchini, sliced ​​
  • ½ cup frozen pea and carrot mixture (optional)
  • 1 sweet yellow onion, sliced
  • ​​4 teaspoons canola oil (vegetable oil is fine)
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder of your choice

PREPARATION:

For the steak
  • Salt and pepper for the prawns, vegetables and rice – of your choice
    Cook the rice according to package instructions and then set aside.
  • Thinly slice half an onion and set aside.
  • Cut the zucchini into coin-sized pieces, then chop into smaller pieces and set aside.
  • Put some cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.Place the shrimp in the hot pan and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Take out the shrimp and set them aside.
  • Put the frying oil in the pan. Season the steak and place in the same pan.
  • Sear for about 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until cooked through to your preference.
  • Add the cooking oil to the pan and sauté the onion over a medium heat.
  • Cook for about 1 to 2 minutes. Add the zucchini to the onion in the pan. Fry the onion until translucent and the zucchini golden brown. The vegetables should be soft, it can take 7-10 minutes.Season to taste with salt/pepper. (Fry the zucchini on each side and keep in the same spot for a few minutes to brown.)
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the frying oil and add 3 raw eggs.
  • Beat the eggs until cooked , then add the frozen vegetables.
  • Cook for about 2-3 minutes. Add the rice to the pan and mix the ingredients well.
  • Add soy sauce (and other favorite seasonings) and mix again
  • Add some chopped or whole shrimp, if desired to the rice and set aside.

  • Add rice to your dish. Then add the vegetables, steak and shrimp.
  • Serve with a delicious sauce.
  • Put all the ingredients in the bowl and mix well. Place the sauce in the fridge for a few hours to allow all the flavors to blend.
